Trandomed was invited by NIHR to attend Surgical MedTech Co-operative in Leeds Hospital in 03/01/2018.
The NIHR Surgical MedTech Co-operative will build a new technology network, adding vascular and hepatopancreatic biliary surgery to its colorectal theme. These areas of surgery all face substantial challenges, with many people suffering from diseases that will benefit from technological innovation.
As the first one who grab the 3D printing silicone technology in China, Trandomed 3D has successfully printed silicone human vasculature. We not only provide patient-specific models for hospitals, like Capital Xuanwu Hospital and Beijing Fuwai Hospital, but also make solutions for medical companies, like Medtronic and Elixir Medical. Trandomed’s silicone vascular models, integrating 3D printing technology with medical care, met with much recognition and support from NHS.
In this meeting, we also witnessed many new technologies which had inspired our new products development. After the meeting, physicians from Leeds Hospital tried our vascular models and gave us their comments.
This trip to Leeds successfully establish a solid foundation for cooperation, fills the gap in UK market. Trandomed 3D will continue to move forward with staying true to our mission.
