Gastroscopy simulator---help to improve the surgical skills in spatial location

Aug 22, 2018

A gastroscopy, sometimes referred to as an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy,is a procedure where a thin, flexible tube called an endoscope is used to look inside the oesophagus (gullet), stomach and first part of the small intestine (duodenum). The endoscope has a light and a camera at one end. The camera sends images of the inside of your oesophagus, stomach and duodenum to a monitor.

We Trandomed can provide Gastroscopy simulator, which is 3D printed based on real human CT/MRI data.
The simulator includes lifelike oral cavity, oesophagus, stomach and duodenum which is made of special silicone with different colors, ensuring the best hardness and operation experience.
The inner wall of oesophagus and stomach is created with folds. We also provide some common gastrointestinal pathological structure, like stomach polyp and ulcer, which can be detected by endoscope, adding realism to operation simulation.
Custom base is designed to simulate physically location of all parts and enhance stability during operation.
This simulator is a perfect tool for gastroscopy device R&D, surgical demonstration and education. Further details, contact us at info@trando-med.com or visit our website http://www.trando-med.com/
