Aorta arch are classified under three types by the vertical distance from the origin of the innominate artery to the top of the arch. When the distance is > 2 times the left common carotid artery(CCA )diameter, we call it Type 3 arch. It's quite difficult to reach to carotid arteryif you encounter Type 3 arch during procedure.
Our aorta model with Type 3 arch extends from femoral artery to carotid artery. It is equipped with standard Luer connector for easy switch with other modules and transparent acrylic case for accurate observation.
This vessel was constructed from angiographic and CT data to provide a realistic environment for the simulation of endovascular procedures,pre-surgery planning,studies and teaching purpose.Large portable suitcase is also available to protect the model during shipping,travel and storage.
